My approach combines evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective, recognizing that emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of well-being are interconnected. I primarily integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to offer distinct but complementary pathways to healing. Ultimately, therapy empowers you to become your own best advocate and healer. It is an honor to walk alongside you as you uncover your strengths, face your challenges, and work towards a more fulfilled and balanced life.

Perinatal Mental Health: 


I provide specialized support for mental health challenges related to pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. By offering tailored, evidence-based care, I help clients navigate this transformative phase with confidence and resilience, ensuring their emotional well-being during this significant life transition. My approach includes addressing issues such as postpartum depression and anxiety, helping new parents adjust to their evolving roles. With a focus on holistic care, I support both the emotional and practical aspects of perinatal health.


Women's Issues: 


I specialize in addressing insecurities, body image issues, and societal pressures affecting women's self-identity. My therapy approach empowers women to embrace their strengths and overcome challenges, fostering a positive and healthy self-image. I work to dismantle harmful societal norms and support women in developing self-compassion and confidence. By providing a nurturing environment, I help women reclaim their sense of self and autonomy.


Trauma/PTSD: 


I offer therapy grounded in EMDR to help clients reprocess traumas and find healing. By utilizing this evidence-based approach, I support individuals in reducing the emotional impact of traumatic experiences, promoting recovery and resilience. EMDR Trauma Therapy: 


I specialize in guiding individuals through healing from trauma using EMDR. This technique facilitates the reprocessing of distressing memories, enabling clients to achieve emotional relief and a renewed sense of well-being. EMDR helps in transforming negative beliefs and emotions associated with traumatic events. Through this process, clients can gain a sense of empowerment and closure.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy: 


I specialize in helping clients cultivate present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. By integrating mindfulness practices into therapy, I support clients in developing greater emotional resilience and reducing stress. This approach fosters a deeper connection with oneself and enhances overall well-being. When I'm not connecting with clients virtually, you'll often find me embracing the great outdoors. I believe nature plays a vital role in mental well-being, and I actively practice what I teach by incorporating outdoor activities into my daily routine. Whether it's jogging, hiking, or simply enjoying a walk in the park, I find that these experiences enhance my personal resilience and overall mental health.

You may continue to book below. Please note that as a self-pay client, you agree to pay for services out of pocket and understand that these fees cannot be submitted to an insurance provider for reimbursement. Once services are rendered under self-pay, we cannot retroactively bill your insurance. 

Insurance Clients

If you wish to use insurance for services, your coverage must be verified before your appointment. Please note that couples and family therapy are not available for those utilizing insurance, as these specialized services fall outside the scope of insurance coverage. Couples sessions will not carry a diagnosis code and will therefore not be paid by insurance companies.

Steps to utilize your Insurance:

 Get you insurance verified Here   We will initiate the verification process and contact you shortly once your coverage is verified.   We will provide you with several therapists who may be covered by your plan and communicate their schedules.  We will finalize your onboarding and prepare you for your first session (Please note that a $75 one time processing charge is collected at the time of booking).
